According to a report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of October 25, the “Wholesale Price of Agricultural Products 200 Index” stands at 127.53, reflecting a decrease of 0.04 points from the previous day. The “Vegetable Basket” wholesale price index is at 129.70, down by 0.08 points.
As of 2 PM today, the average prices for various agricultural products in wholesale markets across the country are as follows: pork is priced at 24.67 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.6%; beef is at 60.97 yuan per kilogram, down by 0.1%; lamb is at 58.58 yuan per kilogram, up by 0.4%; eggs are priced at 10.42 yuan per kilogram, down by 1.5%; and broiler chicken is at 17.78 yuan per kilogram, down by 2.2%.
The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables remains stable at 5.50 yuan per kilogram, while the average price for six monitored fruits has decreased to 7.24 yuan per kilogram, down by 0.5%. Additionally, the prices for various fish are as follows: crucian carp is at 20.79 yuan per kilogram, up by 1.2%; carp is priced at 14.15 yuan per kilogram, a decline of 2.9%; white catfish is at 10.18 yuan per kilogram, up by 1.2%; and large hairtail fish is at 41.15 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 4.9%.
In today’s market analysis of 46 selected fresh agricultural products, the top five increases compared to yesterday were seen in large hairtail fish (4.9%), cabbage (4.0%), zucchini (3.2%), cucumber (2.7%), and green beans (2.1%). Conversely, the five products with the most significant price drops were spinach (3.4%), green peppers (3.2%), napa cabbage (2.9%), carp (2.9%), and celery (2.7%).
